An Introduction To Scotch
Curious about Scotch and what makes it unique among the world’s whiskies? The Introduction to Scotch experience is designed to guide you through Scotland’s iconic whisky regions, highlighting the remarkable range of styles — from delicate Lowlands to smoky Islay drams. Each pour is chosen to showcase the traditions, flavours, and craftsmanship that define Scotch whisky.
In this two-hour tasting experience, you’ll enjoy six carefully selected 1/2 oz pours that showcase the diversity of Scotch. Along the way, you’ll explore how region and cask influence shape flavour, taste a whisky aged over 20 years, and experience the intensity of a cask-strength bottling. To finish, you’ll encounter peat — one of Scotch whisky’s most iconic and divisive characteristics.
By the end, you’ll not only know which Scotch styles you enjoy — you’ll understand the history and flavour profiles that make them so distinct.
